The facts establishing the grounds for issuance of a search warrant are as follows:
AFFlANT

Your affiant, Detective Darcy Spong, has been a police officer since 2007, and is
currently
employed with the City of Robbinsdale. Your affiant is an investigator for the Robbinsdale
Police Department and has assisted the investigations area of the police department prior to
her current assignment.

Your affiant has also received training from various sources in the area of investigations.
Your affiant has made every attempt to review all available reports and documents
concerning this case and has spoken with witnesses and the officers of the Robbinsdale
Police Department surrounding this case.

On 08/29/2023 at approximately 1055 hours a Robbinsdale Officer observed a vehicle
bearing MN plate 1M5994 speeding and poor driving conduct in the lane. The officer stopped
the vehicle at Indiana Ave N/Lake Dr.

OFFICER OBSERVATIONS/ACTIONS

The officer observed smoke pore out the window when he made contact with the driver. The
officer asked the suspect to step out to preform field testing to determine if he was
impaired. The driver attempted to walk away and then fought with officers. The driver was
the only occupant of the vehicle.

ID SUSPECT

The driver was identified as Myon Demarlo Burrell DOB 03/31/1986.

FIREARM

During a search of the vehicle a firearm was located in the center console. The vehicle
registers to Burrell.

CRIMINAL HISTORY

A criminal history was run on Burrell which indicated he is a prohibited person from
carrying
a firearm.

WARRANT REQUEST

Based on the aforementioned information your affiant requests a daytime search warrant
for DNA of Myon Demarlo Burrell DOB 03/31/1986 to confirm with forensic testing
completed on the firearm.
