Dear Jeff Denham:

I am a ninth-grade student at Kimball High in Tracy, California. I am writing you concerning a

pathway to citizenship for undocumented immigrants. Most newcomers desire the American
Dream opportunity and wish to reunite with family. To see people struggle with their daily life in
a place they wish not to be is devastating.

Last year, the New American Economy found that 40 percent of 500 companies were founded or
co-founded by immigrants or their children. I believe that many immigrants contribute to our
country yet have problems with getting jobs meanwhile current American citizens have these
privileges that not many immigrants have.

Immigrants should be welcome to America in hope of being welcomed and include faith in them
no matter how unkempt or undocumented they may be. If newcomers are trying to have a better
life for themselves and their family, they should be allowed to.

The benefits of immigration will make America continue to be best. I look forward to pathway to
citizenship for undocumented immigrants. Thank you for the consideration.

Sincerely,

Jace Nisperos
