woman of virtue even in the midst of life and
death. Are you ready to read her story?”

b. Lesson Proper:

“But, before we indulge in the story of another


strong woman, let us unlock the meaning of
the words that will you encounter in the

- Let the students group themselves


according to the symbols that they will
pick in the box.

- The students will work with their group
to define the given meaning out of the
jumbled letters given to them.
- The words are the following:

dancing and playing different instruments to
entertain men.

administration of the laws.

3. scorching- intense and painful

4. banquet- a sumptuous feast.

5.fidelity- an act of showing commitment

- Still with their group, distribute the


hand-outs of the summary of “The Tale
of Chunhyang” and let them fill in the
necessary information in the word
web.
d. Evaluation
