Day 1: Airport – Kithulgala

Arrive at Bandaranaike International Airport you will be met by our Discover360 Tours representative and

transfer to a hotel at Kithulgala.

Day 2: Kithulgala

After breakfast start your journey with exiting experience. Kithulgala is a small town in the west of Sri

Lanka. A rain forestry area, which gets two monsoons each year, and is one of the wettest places in Sri

Lanka. The main attractions include white water rafting, Waterfall Abseiling, trekking and the Kelani

Forest Reserve, which is a popular bird watching location. In the evening proceeds to knuckles.

 White Water Rafting

Experience White Water Rafting in the picturesque Kelani River, covering 5 major rapids and 4 minor

rapids. This activity is for anyone above the age of 10 years with safety gear, modern rafts, and a

comprehensive safety briefing will be given by our white water rafting instructors beforehand. The

distance covered is around 5 KMs. The river and its surrounding will make you feel enchanted, with a

memorable Experience during your White Water Rafting Tour in Kithulgala.


 Waterfall Abseiling

Enjoying the view of a stunning Waterfall is already amazing but abseiling takes this adventure far beyond

the limits of a normal sightseeing of a tourist.

 Trekking

Water fall trekking gives you a close view of incredible scenery of a waterfall. Trekking is mainly focused

in view of stunningly beautiful waterfalls hidden inside the rain forests in Kithulgala.

 Bird watching

A good number of endemic birds including the Spot-winged Thrush, Green-billed Coucal, Red-

faced Malkoha, Ceylon Grey Hornbill, Yellow-fronted Barbet, Ceylon Spurfowl, Ceylon Rufous

Babbler, Ceylon Scimitar Babbler and Ceylon Frogmouth.


Day 3: Kithulgala – Knuckles

After early breakfast start climbing Knuckles, is one the most important bio diversity environments with

range of mountains and a great water and wild life resource.Knuckles mountain range and its forest trails

are the most suitable for trekking in Sri Lanka.This mountain range offers a wonderful place for Bird

watching, Trekking, Wildlife Photography, and Camping. It has many nature trails cleared trough the

forest by forest department with campsites. For example Mini worlds end trails in the west and east,

Pitawala pathena trail, Ash cave trail, Nitre cave trail, Knuckles summit trail are very exciting.

Day 4: Knuckles – Nuwara eliya
Leave knuckles in the morning and travel to Nuwara eliya by

train. Nuwara Eliya meaning "the city in the open plain (table

land) in the hills" is a hilly town of Sri Lanka. Surrounded by

hills and tea plantations, the town of Nuwara Eliya. Enjoys

spring-like weather throughout the year.Spend rest of your day

with relax.

Day 5: Nuwara eliya


Rise in the morning and will visit some selected places according to your choice. In the evening proceeds

to Ella.

Possible Events

 Horton Plains National Park

Horton Plains National Park is a protected area in the central highlands of Sri Lanka and is covered by

montage grassland and cloud forest. The sheer precipice of World's End and Baker's falls are among the

tourist attractions of the park.


 Victoria Park

Originally the park was the research field of Hakgala Botanical Garden. The Nanu Oya River runs through

the park, creating a number of small scenic lakes that greatly enhance the park's natural beauty.

 Gregory’s Lake

Lake Gregory is a reservoir in heart of the tea country hill city. If you like to have a boat ride, or If you like

to ride your own, there are two Swan Boats for hire and Kids may like to have a pony ride. You can spend

the evenings with peaceful views of misty hills and clam and quit Gregory Lake while sipping a cup of tea

of a fine quality. you can see sea planes land on the Gregory Lake.

 Race course

Racecourse in Nuwara Eliya is the only remaining horse racing venue in Sri Lanka and The beautiful

Nuwara Eliya Race Course which lies alluringly amidst blue mountain ranges is the location where the

annual Horse Racing events are organized.


 Mackwoods Labookellie Tea Estate

Mackwoods Labookellie Tea Estate in Nuwara Eliya is one of the most mysterious, awe-inspiring

landscapes I’ve ever seen. you can visit Mackwood Tea Plantation Museum and At the estate, you can

joined a free tour of the tea-making process.

 Strawberry fields

Strawberries are grown in open fields and poly tunnels in the Nuwara Eliya District. you are able to walk

through the fields picking your own strawberries! It is also possible to arrange a tractor tour around. and

picked strawberries along with jams, juices and other strawberry-based products are readily available.
 Ambewela Farm

The Ambewela Farm, sometimes referred to as ‘Little New Zealand’ ’Here, you can observe cows and

cattle grazing in the farm along with other farm animals and You can also purchase farm-fresh dairy

products here.

 Waterfalls

There are many waterfalls around Nuwara eliya. Bambarakanda falls Lover’s Leap Falls, Devon Falls,

St. Clair’s Falls and Ramboda Waterfall are very famous among them.
Day 6: Nuwara eliya-Ella

After having breakfast start your

day with exiting experience. Ella is

a little village paradise in the central

highlands of Sri Lanka. This sleepy

mountain village, with a view, is the

perfect base for relaxing, whilst also

offering lots of fantastic walks

through tea plantations to temples

and waterfalls. Ella with its perfect

climate soothes your mind and makes your day to day anxieties feel a world away.

 Ella Rock

Ella Rock is a famous cliff, located high above Ella’s village, roughly a two hours strenuous trek from the

centre of town. The rock offers stunning views across the hill country, and the plains below. The trek to

Ella Rock is about 8 km long.


 Ravana Ella Falls

The Ravana Ella or the Ravana falls is one of the widest falls in Sri Lanka and is one of the most popular

attractions. It is connected to the Hindu epic, Ramayana, a historic tale that covers over India and Sri

Lanka. The falls is said to have been named after the famous king, King Ravana.

 Demodara Nine Arch Bridge

This viaduct was built at Gotuwala between the two railway stations – Ella and Demodara during the

British Colonial period is the largest in Sri Lanka. Located almost 3100 feet above the sea level, this

99.6ft high. When one stands underneath it and looks up there is a beautiful sight of ‘nine skies’ through

the nine arches, hence the Sinhala name. This bridge is also called ‘The Bridge in the sky’ due to the

sheer height.
 Ella Adventure site

EMany adventure activities can be indulged in at the site such as Aerial Rope, Monkey rope, Slithering

rope, Toddy tapping, Mud activities, Para Gliding, Paint ball, Water polo, Canoeing, Kayaking and

Mountain biking etc.

Day 7: Ella-Negombo

It’s time to move beach side leaving country side. Negombo is a modest beach town located close to

Bandaranaike International Airport. With a stash of decent hotels and restaurants to suit all pockets, a

friendly local community, an interesting old quarter and a reasonable (though polluted) beach,

Negombo is a much easier place to get your Sri Lankan feet than Colombo . Hereafter proceed to the

Airport in time for the connecting flight.
