 Improve Traffic Flow and Parking at FKA
Nowadays, the traffic flow at FKA(UTM) has become jammed due to the increasing of driver
and motorcyclist in UTM. Lack of parking area also become the most common problem in
FKA(UTM).Due to that, I have assign to do improvement of traffic flow and parking area at
FKA.

Improvement of traffic flow:

 Build traffic light at the junction of Lingkaran Ilmu Road as shown in Figure 1.
This can reduce the traffic jammed of that area because that area always full of car
and motorcyclist because it is the main road between FKA and other faculty. The area
also become the way for pedestrian especially student that on their way to D10 and
lab.
 Build traffic light at the road junction from FAB road to Lingkaran Ilmu Road as
shown in Figure 1.
 Build a fly-over road between Lingkaran Ilmu Road and Jalan Amal as shown in
Figure 1. This road will create shortcut for driver and motorcyclist. Due to this, traffic
flow at Lingkaran Ilmu Road become more smooth and that road also make the user
easier to access Jalan Amal without going through Lingkaran Ilmu Road junction.
 Make a shortcut between Lingkaran Ilmu Road to geotechnical lab as shown in Figure
1. This road help driver or motorcyclist that want to go to computer lab and
geotechnical lab easier without passing through Lingkaran Ilmu Road junction.
Therefore, the traffic flow at Lingkaran Ilmu junction become more smoothly and
reduce traffic jammed in that road.

Improvement of parking area:

 Build a parking area between Jalan Resak and Jalan Merbau as shown in Figure 1.
The area will provide more parking area instead of parking area infront of M46
especially for lecturer, staff and student convenient.
 Build a parking area between the lake and Lingkaran Ilmu Road as shown in Figure
1.The huge space of that area can help provide more parking area.
 Expand the parking area infront of highway lab as shown in Figure1. This help driver
and motorcyclist easier to park their transport at that area. Moreover, user also can
access to highway lab more easier because the parking area will create a shortcut for
the user.
