I am a nursing student at the University of South Florida’s College of Nursing. I was one of the
nurse’s student this semester on the Labor and Delivery unit at Tampa General Hospital. I’m
contacting you to set up a date to meet and discuss any possible Graduate Nurse positions that may
be available on L&D. I enjoyed my time on the unit as a student. Your staff made me feel like part of
the team and I would love to join it officially.

During my time as a student on the unit, I learned a lot about the responsibilities of an L&D
Nurse. Ciara took the time to train me as if I was an orientee, so I have 180 hours of firsthand
experience already on the unit. Most of the staff already knows me and I have established a good
relationship with them. I fell in love with Labor and Delivery during my time in school. My passion for
it will power my drive to be the best nurse I can be.
