The Garden Club will be renovating the area south of the Fellowship Hall with plantings that
will require less maintenance. These will be hearty Nebraska perennials which will add
beautification and curb appeal to St. John’s. The Garden Club has set a goal of $10,000 to
purchase the new plantings. Donations can be placed in the offering plates marked
“Garden” or in the watering cans at the back of the sanctuary.

LAST WEDNESDAY LECTIO, scheduled for April 25, has been moved to the first Wednesday in May.
In addition to May 2, we will meet again on the last Wednesday, May 30.

PERSONAL CARE KITS
Personal Care Kits are the LWR project for
February through April. Instructions and the
list of materials to include in each kit can be
found in the west hallway – look for the
washtub. Thank you for supporting
Lutheran World Relief!
BUSY BAGS
Thank you to the second period Soar Class
from Norfolk Junior High School for making
and donating "Busy Bags" for the children at
St. John's Lutheran Church. Busy Bags --
cloth bags full of coloring books, crayons,
puzzles, etc. – are for children to use during a
worship service. Bags are now available at
both entrances to the sanctuary!
While thinking about Mosaic as the Mission
of the Month for April, please consider
making a donation of an item. Monetary
donations are always welcome, but some
items to consider donating would be:
activities, games, puzzles, adult bibs or The Fellowship Life Team will be babysitting
plastic kitchen ware. Thank you for your on Thursday, May 3rd from 5-8 pm, in the
support! Fellowship Hall. We will have supper and
activities for the kids while the parents have a
night out. There is a sign up on the registration
slip in the bulletin or call the church office at
402-371-1985.
