Frowick has again stepped up to schedule
workers, so help her by signing up on today’s
Registration Slip. Please consider helping!
Desperately needed food for the pantry: beans, St. John’s Youth Grades 7 – 12
tomatoes, crackers, peanut butter, canned meat Sunday, August 26 10 AM – 2 PM
and monetary donations. ALL donations are (while you’re at fellowship or worship)

new directory up and running by the time
Pastor Randy comes to St. John’s.
On behalf of the Church Council and Call
Committee: we are requesting volunteers to
help with Pr Randy’s move on the afternoon of
September 2nd. Tentatively 3pm.
Pr. Randy is renting a moving truck and needs
some help unloading and unpacking on this end.

LUTHERAN WORLD RELIEF
SCHOOL KITS
School kits will be assembled on Sept. 9
during God’s Work, Our Hands. Please pick
up a NEEDS list for school supplies in the
west hallway (look for the washtub). It’s a
great time to get school supplies, so shop
now and get your items in the washtub
before September 9!
The Mission Life Team is in need of used bath
towels in good condition for a project for "God's
Work, Our Hands" Sunday, September 9th.
These will be used to make hygiene kits for the
Orphan Grain Train. You can deposit your towels in
the green laundry basket on the table in the west
hallway. Thank you for your support.
NOTE FOR SUNDAY SCHOOLERS:
The St. John's Sunday School has packed
Lutheran World Relief School Kits for the past
several years for God's Work. Our
Hands.Sunday. We will be doing this again this
year on Sunday, September 9th during
our Sunday School time, 9:45 - 10:45 AM. For
the next three Sundays, we would ask that
your child bring school supplies in place of
a monetary offering. Right now is a really good
time to pick up supplies before they store them
away for the season. The supplies that are most
needed at this time are:

school scissors
pencil sharpeners
erasers
crayons - 24 count box
rulers - double sided inch and centimeter
