Importance of universal ability to ask questions.


How to manage ignorance (all that we do not know about).
Statistics show that we stop making questions after the age of 3 years old

Divergent thinking rules


1 Ask as many questions as you can
2 don’t judge
3 state them as they first come to your mind
4 prioritise

Convergent thinking
1 change from open to closed and viceversa
2 analyse each question
3 reflect about each question
4 Identify priority questions - Identify order in sequence of total questions - Making thinking process visible

When to use this Question Formulation Technique:


Engagement
Knowledge acquisition (starting point of a research Project)
Formative assessment (Understanding information and topics already treated in class)
Summative assessment

Recommendation:
Don’t correct grammar or spelling during QFT
