How to connect a USB Printer to a HG553

1. Connect your printer to a HG553 via a USB cable.

2. Input http://192.168.0.1/ippcfg.html in your Internet browser. Tick

‘Enable on-board print serve’，input a Printer name, eg. 5250dn, input

make and model, click SAVE / APPLY

Note: Please remember the Printer name, our example is 5250dn.

3. Software setup on your PC (This part is a brief guide only. Different

versions of operation system have different steps.):

- Open printer wizard

- Add a network printer

- Input the following address http://192.168.0.1:631/printers/5250dn

when operation system searches the printer

Note: Please input your own printer name instead of 5250dn.

- Install the printer driver from hard drive or your driver CD

- Set this printer as default printer
