The document discusses the use of manipulatives and hands-on activities in the classroom to help students understand lessons. It describes how the author observed their MST teacher using cubes with numbers to teach math concepts, as well as geometry shapes to solve equations. The teacher plans activities for each lesson and uses different materials related to the topic and students' level. Before activities, the teacher provides clear instructions on using the materials so students understand and remain engaged. Using manipulatives helps students develop thinking and kinesthetic skills while achieving learning objectives through participation.

In education teachers must use some different materials so the students
could understand the contents that they learn it. When I visit Al Nakheel school I saw my MST she used some different materials for students, so she can explain the lesson and be sure that students will understand the lesson from the real materials for example, she was bringing for the students some cubes that contains numbers and the students should create a worksheet that contains mathematical calculations through the numbers and after that they stick the paper on the math corner. Through my last experience in the school I saw many strategies, the teacher was using it for the students and it was geometry shapes, she was using geometry shapes to solve equations and she also used cube dice, if the students threw the dice and got number one they should write just one equation and if they threw the dice and got number two they must write two equations, this strategy helps the students to understand the lesson in an interesting way. We should make a plan for any work that we have to do, and I learned from my MST this strategy because she was writing the plan for every lesson that she teach for the students and every lesson have a different plan from each other lessons, and from the questions that are in the book the teacher puts a plan for the lesson. The teacher takes in each activity 5 minutes sometimes, but there are many different activities that takes long time because students couldn’t understand and achieve the activity, The teacher starts looking on the concept of the lesson and she choose the best materials that is related to the student's level and the questions that are in the book so the student could understand the lesson easily. Before the teacher starts the activity she gives the instructions to the students and how will they use the materials, so they don’t start without understanding and they work with the activity with an interested feelings. Using the materials in the classroom will make the students develop their thinking skills and will achieve the activity from participating, and will develop through the activity kinesthetic skills.
