Rhetorical analysis reflection

In the beginning of my rhetorical analysis I started by doing an outline and printing out
the article I did my rhetorical analysis on. Once I printed out the article I started by taking
highlighting and taking notes on which rhetorical appeals the writer was using. I also identified
her thesis statement and started asking myself questions. Such as “How is the author organizing
the article” and “How does the writer explain or develop her ideas”. On my outline I identified
who the audience is, what the purpose is, what Is the topic, what is the tone, who is the writer
and lastly, I identified the topic sentence. Doing the outline and highlighting the article I printed
out definitely helped me organize my rhetorical analysis in an effective way.
