Eaton High School Wrestling Practice #6 Date:​ Monday 19 November 2017


Time:​ 4:00-6:00 (2 hrs.)
Equipment:​ Wrestling Shoes, Headgear Place:​ EHS Wrestling Room
Number of Athletes: ​24 Age/Level: ​14-19/High School

Practice Objective: ​Scoring after countering takedowns, scoring quick points on top with the
nearside tilt, and scoring from bottom with a stand-up.

Previously Learned Skills:

Takedowns: High C’s, Single legs, Double legs

Top: Following and riding the bottom wrestler, chop and spiral breakdowns

Bottom: Half, cradle, and tilt defense
