MAC OS X Configuration

The following steps outline how to configure a MAC OS X VPN client to access Library Research
Databases subscribed by NLUO from outside of NLUO Local Area Network(LAN) / Wi-Fi from
Internet.

Step 1. Go to System > Preferences > Network and click the sign to create a new connection.

Step 2: Select the Interface as VPN and VPN Type as PPTP. Specify the Service Name as VPN
(PPTP).

Click Create to create the PPTP connection.

Step 3: Specify the Server Address as 14.139.213.70 and Account name as 11bba016 (Cyberoam
User). Select Encryption as None from the list of encryption options.

Step 4: Click Authentication Settings to specify the password of your Cyberoam user, This saves
the password for the user.

In the Password field, specify the password for your Cyberoam user.

Click OK to complete the authentication settings and save the password.

Step 5: Click Advanced and check Send all traffic over VPN connection under the Options tab.

Click OK to direct all traffic of your client machine through this PPTP VPN tunnel or connection.

Step 6: Click Apply to complete the PPTP VPN configuration. To connect using this connection,
click Connect.
