It is a great pleasure for me to write this recommendation for Seany Gershen. I teach Seany in A.P. United
States History this year as an eleventh grader, and she is one of the very top students in an extremely
competitive and able group. She has a high aptitude for history and is very much involved in her work, applying
herself with persistence and dedication and often going beyond the regular class assignments.
Although I have only known Seany for one year, in that time she has impressed me with her work ethic, moral
character, great attitude, and caring nature.
Seany’s personal qualities are as impressive as her intellectual accomplishments. She was 9th grade class
secretary (2015), has served on the Advisory Board for the past three years, has participated in athletics as a
cheerleader and lacrosse player and academically, she is a member of the National Honor Society and has made
Honor Roll since 2015.
She is an extremely kind, sensitive and sensible student whose leadership qualities have propelled her to the top
of her class. The maturity that he has demonstrated leads me to believe she is capable of achieving any goal she
sets for herself.
In conclusion, I feel that Seany has both the academic and personal qualities to be a credit to any organization,
and I give her my recommendation without reservation.
