This document contains instructions for a second practice exam in statics and dynamics for mining engineering students. It instructs students that the exam will take place on April 17, 2018 from 7-9 pm, and that no outside materials are allowed. The exam contains 4 problems - the first asks students to explain different conditions of static equilibrium, the second asks them to calculate the distance a charge must be placed on a horizontal bar to be in equilibrium, the third asks them to draw a free body diagram, and the fourth asks them to determine the magnitude and point of application of the resultant force on a beam subjected to multiple vertical forces.

SEGUNDA PRACTICA CALIFICADA DE ESTATICA Y DINAMICA (FI-334)
Profesor : Ing. Segundo Wilmer Gómez Salas
Día y hora : 17 de abril de 2018; 19:00 – 21:00 h
Indicaciones : Sin copias, apuntes, laptop, tablets ni celulares. Prohibido el préstamo de calculadoras, correctores.
1. Responda y sustente las siguientes condiciones:
1.1. F = 0 1.2. M = 0 1.3. F ≠ 0 1.4. M ≠ 0
