Youth Exchange „Try talking in my shoes“

Croatia, Duga Resa, 23th-30th June 2017

Youth Exchange „Try talknig in my shoes“ will take place in Duga Resa from 23th till 30th June 2017.
Duga Resa is city in Karlovac County and has around 11.000 inhabitants.

PROJECT

Main objective is to increase the communication skills of young participants in order for them to
strengthen key competences, social inclusion and active participation in life.
Activities will consist of a set of workshops that actively and creatively deals with concept and
importance of these forms od communication. We will address issues of speakers, listeners, message,
noise in communication active listening, assertive communication , motivation and feelings behind the
communication process, verbal and non-verbal communication.

Arrival day: 23/06/2017, participants should arrive in Duga Resa by 18h

Departure day: 30/06/2017, participants should depart after 12h

ACCOMODATION:

Accomodation and workshops will take place in Duga Resa in students dorm. Accomodationa and
food will be coverd by project. All participants that have some food restrictions, please, let us know
in advance.
Participants will be accommodated in multibed-rooms and provided with linen.

PARTICIPANTS:

Each partner organization needs to organize a group that will consist of 5 participants (our focus is
youth aged between 15-25) + 1 group leader (no age limit).

Gander balance needs to be respected in every national group.

LANGUAGE OF ACTIVITY

Official language od Youth Exchange is English so it's very important that all participants are able to
communicate in English language.

SECURITY
We reccomend all participants to make European Health Insurance Card and travel insurance.

TRAVEL COST
All partners have per particinat 170€.
Participants from Turkey have 100€ per participants for visa costs.

Reimbursement will be made after Exchange and after we recive receipts for all travel expenses and
statement from each partner. Reimbursement will be done on partners organization bank account
by real travel costs.

We will arange travel details with each group individually.

MONEY TO BRING
The currency in Croatia is kuna (HRK). You can exchange money in Duga Resa.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING

1. Intercultural night- bring local food and drinks, traditional music, music instruments or anything
that you like to use to present your county. Make it interactive and interesting.

2. any medication you think you will need during your stay

3. Participants need to take their own towels, shampoo, hairdryer..
