Student Performance Objectives (SPO) + M

By the end of the lesson, students should be able to:

(C) Explain in own words what was the best way to defend during activity 2 on the exit slip at the end of class.
(N.S.G.L.O S2.M5.8, MCHCF 2.9, exit slip)

(P) Performs at least 2 out of the 3 skill cues of catching at every station by the end of the lesson. (N.S.G.L.O
S1.M3.8, MCHCF 2.9, Station 1, 2,3)

(A) Be conscious of other students’ feelings during all stations by encouraging classmates and having a good attitude
at all times. (N.S.G.L.O S4.M3.8, MCHCF 2.15, Station 1,2,3)
Check each objective – is it specific? Is it achievable? Is it developmentally appropriate?

Teacher Performance Objectives – During the lesson the teacher will:

1. Provide at least 1 positive specific and 1 corrective specific piece of feedback to each student throughout the
lesson.
2. Assess all students at the end of class with an exit slip , asking questions that go over the skill cues that were
given at each station.
Special Considerations –

1. Some students may not be very confident with defending, make sure they are aware that they shouldn’t be
making any contact with the person that they are defending.
2. Always consider safety, for example, when we begin to play ultimate football at the end of the lesson, make sure
the students are aware that we are not tackling or even pushing or shoving each other.

Activity 3: Ultimate Football

Purpose of this activity is to have the students throwing,
catching, and defending in a game like situation.
The students are going to be broken up into four different
teams so there will be two separate games going on. Students
34-44 min are throwing and catching attempting to get to the other side
of the field to gain a point. But, once you have caught the ball,
you are not allowed to move your feet. If the ball is dropped, it
is a turnover to the other team attempting to go in the other
direction. Every player has to touch the ball for the point to X T X
count if they get to the opposite side of the field (PE Central).
