DIALOGUE
Jerry: Hey man! How are you doing! Long time no see!
Clark: Hey! I’m ok! I guess! We are back to school again. Another semester. I can’t wait to finish all this, honestly!
Jerry: Oh come on! It’s not all bad! We just came back from vacation! By the way! How was your vacation!? What did
you do of special?
Clark: Maybe that’s why I’m so blue! My vacation was so freaking awesome. I traveled to the beach with my family! It
was glamorous!
Jerry: Shut up! Where did you go to? California, Charleston or perhaps Florida?
Clark: Oh! None of these! We went to Hawaii, more specifically to Manele Bay! Also we stayed at a resort there. It
was amazing!
Jerry: That’s really something! What did you do there? Did you meet any pretty girls?
Clark: The place is amazing. It’s called Lanai resort. It is in one of the last unspoiled parts of the island. There were
many different rooms and apartments. Waiters served you all the time, plus I was able to eat as much as I could
because it was all inclusive.
Jerry: Sweet, but I was told that Hawaii is famous for its beautiful beaches with bright sand, giant waves and
awesome surfers. Did you surf or scuba dive or at least hunt for oysters?
Clark: No, no! I did not do any of these. I preferred to stay by the pool, having some drinks, checking on the cheeks
and suntan myself. After all, I went there to relax! One week of pure relaxation, massage and good services. All that I
needed.
Jerry: That’s easy to understand why you didn’t want to come back! My vacation, in the other hand was full of things
to do! I got a part time job at Mr.Downfrey’s delicatessen in order to get some extra cash; you know.
Clark: Why did you do that? Are you short of cash? Do you want to do anything special?
Jerry: Well I have to save some money to buy my first car, so I didn’t want to waste any time and started working part
time only.
