TENDER NOTICE

For and on behalf of the President of India, the Deputy Chief Mechanical Engineer (W), Northern
Railway, Locomotive Workshop, Charbagh, Lucknow invites sealed tenders on prescribed form from
reputed firms for works as detailed below:

1. Tender No.: Works/CB/ VI/Forklift/2015

2. Name of Work: Overhauling and Annual Maintenance contract for one year of Godrej – make
Forklifts after expiry of warrantee period in NR/ Loco/CB.

3. Quantity: 05 Nos.

4. Estimated Cost: Rs. 13,44,931/ - (Rs Thirteen Lakhs Forty Four Thousand Nine Hundred Thirty
One) only.

5. Earnest Money: Rs. 26,900/- (Rs Twenty Six Thousand Nine Hundred) only in the form of Banker’s
Cheque/Demand Draft issued by any Nationalized/Scheduled bank.

6. Cost of Tender Form: Rs. 2,000/- only (By Post - Rs. 2,500/-)

7. Period of Completion: 04 Months.

8. Date & Time for Submission of Tender: From -07.03.2016 to 22.03.2016 up to 15:00 Hrs.

9. Date & Time for Opening of Tender: At 15:15 Hrs. on 22.03.2016.

 The tender form can be obtained from the office of Dy.CME (W), Northern Railway, Locomotive
Workshop Charbagh, Lucknow after depositing requisite amount, at office of Chief Cashier (NR),
Charbagh, Lucknow or a crossed demand draft in favour of Sr.A.F.A. (W)/NR/Charbagh, Lucknow.
(By hand from 23.02.2016 to 22.03.2016 in any working days from 10:00 Hrs.to13:00 Hrs. and By
Post from 23.02.2016 to 15.03.2016)

 The tender form may be downloaded from the website www.nr.indianrailways.gov.in from
23.02.2016 to 22.03.2016 up to 13:00 Hrs..

 If the tender is downloaded from internet the cost of the tender document to be deposited
separately from earnest money in the form of Demand Draft issued by Nationalized/ Scheduled
bank in favour of Sr.A.F.A. (W)/N.R./Charbagh/Lucknow.

 The sealed tender duly filled can be dropped in the tender box kept at the main gate of the office of
Chief Works Manager, Northern Railway, Locomotive Workshop, Charbagh, Lucknow up to 15:00
Hrs. date: 22.03.2016.

 The tender will be opened on specified date and time as above in the presence of firm’s
representatives. In case the above date is a holiday the tender box closing and tender opening
would be conducted at the same times on the next working day.
