To my donor

This is probably the first opportunity that is being provided by ffe to me to write a letter to my donor.
Being from a middle class family and having high aspiration in life, it is the financial condition of my
family which has certainly been a big impediment in the way towards success. My father is a
shopkeeper and my mother is a home maker. I have two siblings, my one younger brother has just
completed his intermediate and another younger brother is studying in class 9. Since all three of us are
students and only source of income is my father, initially it seemed difficult how I will survive in the
prestigious G.B.P.U.A.T Pantnagar.

It was first year, first semester of my college that I saw one notice on the hostel notice board detailing
about the FFE scholarship. It was certainly a candle of hope to me and my family. I filled the form and
submitted it. Within few months I received an amount of Rs. 40,000. I have received scholarship since
first year and I am looking forward to receive the same in this year as well. Honestly, if I have to thank
someone, it’s you respected donor who has given me an opportunity to study and achieve highest
echelon in my life. Your aid has not only given me an opportunity to study with full dedication but in an
indirect manner to my siblings also since my father was relieved upto some extent from my side and
could spend in my sibling’s education as well. I have studied diligently in my college

Respected donor, it would not have been possible without your help. I owe a larger part of my success
to you. You have been providing me monetary help without even knowing me and without any
expectations. This can be done only by the one who has empathy for others, the one who also wants
others to succeed, who wants to provide opportunities to all and honestly I have learnt such qualities
from you which makes life worth living. You are an inspiration to many students like me. Words will fall
short to express my gratitude towards you but I can say it with full confidence that hadn’t this been you,
I would not have enhanced my personality without any sort of financial pressure.

I would like to thank whole heartedly and want to confess that I will also help students like me in the
near future when I will start earning.
