Victoria Bello-Jardiolin, a lady entrepreneur who's pioneering activities in the marketing of ladies shoes has created

an empire for her and her family. Vicky obtained her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in business
administration from the University of the Philippines, Diliman. In the 1980s, she taught marketing in
the same school, where she also researched on entrepreneurship, small and medium industries, and
cooperatives. She also worked as consultant at Sycip, Gorres & Velayo. On the side, she ventured into
the production and selling of ready to wear clothes. She also started a beauty shop on campus. In 1994, Bello-
Jardiolin spoke about enhancing and changing the product mix to carry other merchandise at her store. She called
her new retail store "Natasha" and located it at a mall along a main thoroughfare to attract more of the C and D crowd

In 1977, Lolito Lopez opened a shoe store by the name of Centropell, in the Cubao Shoe Expo.
Almost three decades later, the tandem of Lolito and wife Lily has blossomed and now sit at the
helm of a shoe business empire that is renowned for its commitment to the development,
manufacturing and marketing of quality, authentic and affordable footwear under the following
brands: CENTROPELLE, RUSS and RUSTY LOPEZ.

CLN started as a small shoe store in the ‘70s at Escolta, Manila. Owners Ben and Vicky Chan started
selling shoes for women but their product line has now expanded to bags , accessories, and clothes. The
team behind CLN believes they were able to withstand the times with their talent to adapt to changes and
improve their product. From Celine, the company decided to change their brand name to CLN to target
women who are modern and fashion-forward. With their efforts to expand and cater to a bigger audience,
they also added the brands CMG and Traffic Footwear under their belt.
