Organization Profiles
Women & Child Welfare Society (WCWS) is a 16-year-old Non-Government and
non- profit organization, which works for the development of needy and marginalized
people since 1994 in the state of Odisha, but it, was registered in the year 1995. W CWS
is a state level organization. It acts as a unique resource agency which brides the gap
between the government's welfare schemes and disadvantaged section of the society.
We always believe in sustainable development concept. With a uniquely holistic approach
of doing some new and innovative for the society, WCW S render its service from last 16
years. We thanks to all who are with us since its inception.

Mission and Vision

Women & Child Welfare Society envision the establishment of the long cherished
goal of a society full of peace, joy and happiness, assuring everybody the freedom from
poverty, ignorance, hunger, fear and exploitation where there will be respect for basic
human value and humanity. Its mission is to bring hope, aspiration and joy to everyone
by bringing out the best quality out of every individual.
Main objective
To identify the problems of the weaker section of the community, priorities and
resolve them with the available resources through organized, systematic and holistic
approach.
Our Target Group

Children at difficult circumstances, poor women and living in distress condition,
urban slums, unemployed, youths, road users, physically challenged, backward
communities and minority communities as well as neglected senior citizens etc.
Achievements
Significant achievements have been documented through receipt of awards like
14th Godfrey Philips Bravery Award, Best Organisation Award for Environment Awareness
and Education, District level Road Safety Award, Prakruti Bandhu Award, Rajiv Gandhi
Sadbhawana Award, Nyaya Jyoti Award, Akhayatrutia Samman, Sebaratna Samman,
