FACTORS THAT INFLUENCE NURSE

PERFORMANCE IN THE APPLICATION OF

NURSING STANDARD IN PUSKESMAS
PONTIANAK CITY

Background:
Health care services at puskesmas are one of the most important service
and goal-oriented services whose goals focus on applying quality nursing
care standards, And be oriented whose the goals is to focused on applying
quality nursing care standards, so it can give the good quality service to
patiens who use the services. This \ability provides the professional
application of nursing care standards according a nursing standards is highly
dependent on how the hospital nurses perform in applying the standard of
nursing care in Pontianak Puskesmas.

Method:
This research is quantitative research using descriptive method. The
purpose of this study to determine the factors that affect the performance of
nurses in the applicationof nursing care standards in Pontianak
Puskesmas. The research instrument uses questionnaires that contains
about education, knowledge, motivation on 58 respondents that is all
nurses who work in Puskesmas and who have vocational education and
nursing scholars.

Result:
The result of the research shows that the factors influencing the
performance of nurses in Pontianak Puskesmas in applying the nursing
care standard is the knowledge in the application of nursing care standard
less 0%, 13.8% enough, 19.0% good, the motivation in applying the
standard of nursing care is less 0% 34.5%, both 10.3%.

Conclusions and recommendations:

The data shows that the nurses at Pontianak Puskesmas have knowledge
about the application of nursing care standards is enough 13,8%, motivation
about applying of nursing care standard is enough 34.5%, So it needs to be
improved about knowledge, motivation to the nurses by the training,
coaching, and existence of team to implementation of nursing care
standards so that can create a good quality service.
