2018 STUDENT READING PROGRAM
CMP is putting together a winning summer reading program for all of our
readers! This year’s program begins on June 23rd and runs through August
25th. Not only does the program give opportunities to win prizes for
reading but this year we will also meet every Friday for a read aloud and
exciting activities to go along with each book! Below is a sneak peek at the
activities for June and July! Be sure to pick up the weekly brochure, the
first one will go home with students this week!

June 23- a bus called heaven – Please bring a picture of yourself to use for
our art project.
June 30- Giraffes Can’t Dance- Talent Show
July 7- What if Everybody Did That?- Environmental Awareness (wear old
clothes)
July 14- Making Friends is an Art- Crayon Crown Art
July 21-What Really Happened to Humpty Dumpty?- Map
making activity
July 28- John, Paul, George and Ben- Students will take a
stroll through history.
