Our Purpose

The name of the organization is Holistic Living Ministry (HLM)

I. Our Purpose
A. This organization is an Ecclesiastical Religious Organization and is not organized for
the private gain of any person. It is organized under the Nonprofit Religious Corporation Law
exclusively for educational and religious purposes.
B. The specific purpose of Holistic Living Ministry is to be a non-denominational, inter-faith,
organization that teaches holistic living through a variety of programs such as healthier eating,
home gardening, body wellness, community outreach, and volunteering.

II. How Proposed Programming Will Advance Our Educational Purpose

A. Our community outreach plan is to be part of the communities in which we teach and
volunteer. The objective is to provide access on-air for churches, community centers, schools
and homes in our broadcast area.
B. We endeavor to inspire and motivate others to join the ministry and or spread the benefits
of holistic living, self-sufficient living, and healthy sustainability either by incorporating balance
personally, volunteerism in community, or by organizing their own community outreach efforts
through HLM or on independently.

III. Proposed Programming Description and Schedules

8am-10 - Wellness for Seniors:

Outreach for wellness, information for seniors, local and syndicated
10-1pm - Active Living (for youth and adults):
Late morning and mid-day wellness reports with interviews, local and syndicated
1pm-4 - Family Health & Unity:
Focus on organic gardening, how-to shows local and syndicated
4pm-8 - HLM Community-Unity (Inter-faith):
Inspirational, motivational interviews with local clergy
8pm-12 - Indigenous Experience:
Indigenous ways of medicine, rites of passage for youth, storytelling, awareness of
balance and nature, and cultural events calendars
12am-xx - Rebroadcast
Rebroadcast of broadcast day mixed with syndicated programs as they become
available

IV. Our History

Holistic Living Ministry was founded October 12, 2010. We established our religious
organization in Vonore, Tennessee where our teaching farm, church and broadcast studio are
currently located.
