Some say that music is as important as other subjects in schools, especially at

the preschool level. Do you agree or disagree? Give your opinion.

I strongly believe and support introducing music as a primary subject as other

subjects in the schools at preschool level. Further I promote it must be introduced
when they enroll the children to nursery, much before the preschool.

The reason for advising for having music at very early age of children is, it has a
very positive impact on the children brain. It helps in improving concentration and
focus. It brings calmness to their mind. Further, children may continue it as their
profession as they get an oppurnity to learn music at very early age.

However, it is observed now a days, parents only focus on the other subjects and
they believe music is waste of time. It is equally important to educate parents about
importance of music and its impact on children mind. Schools and music
institutions must run few summer camps and other campaigns along with the
school programs to promote music and ensure all the children actively participate
in these competions. Music teachers must hired and payed like other teachers
which may influence many to take music as their career.

In conclusion music must be made as a major subject in the education ciriculm.
