Business goals:

 Short-term goal: Use the quality of our service and advertising to soon become well-
known throughout Connersville.
 Long-term goal: Expand the business to other locations and include catering.
 Strategy: Work hard to have the best-tasting coffee, treats, and service in town and
surrounding areas.

• Strengths: Reasonable prices, wide variety of coffee and drinks, a lot of home-made
treats

• Weaknesses: Turn down in the economy, start-up costs, new business, no reputation

• Opportunities: Job opportunities for the many unemployed in Mariveles

• Threats: Jollibee, Pupung’s Coffee Shop, Hap-Chan Chinese Restaurant, and other
local restaurants

Time frame: 2 months

Sources of fund: Personal Savings

Target Market: My target market will be to anyone who enjoys coffee, but I will mainly target
people age 18 and older, both male and female, and who are of the working class. The total
population of Mariveles is 15,411, and the number of males and females are about the same.
There are 11,813 residents over the age of 18.

Competition: My major competitors would be Pupung’s Coffee Shop is located on In front of


Mariveles Municipal. One of the strengths of Pupung’s Coffee Shop would be that they along
the seashore which picture a nice view of the sea. They have also been in Mariveles since 2006
and they are well-known. People may also be brand loyal to their coffee.

Production equipment: Espresso Machine, Bulk Coffee Grinder, Coffee Maker, Espresso
Grinder, Cash Register and Credit card Machine

A) Total expenses: Butter, Brown Sugar , Eggs, Sour cream, Vanilla extract ,
Freshly brewed cold espresso (or coffee)

B) Unit Costs:

300 / 15 = ₱20.00

C) Selling price

₱20.00 + 5% total expenses (₱15.00) = ₱35.00

D) Total sales

15 pieces X ₱35.00 = ₱525.00

E) Profit

525 – 300 = ₱ 225.00
