JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Summary:
Under the general guidance of Director (HRD) the incumbent conducts, co-ordinates and
collaborates administration matters of OPTCL by performing the following duties:

 Overall Facility Management and Logistic Management of Corporate Office


 All works related to General Administration such as tendering and procurement of
printing, stationary, furniture, annual diary, calendars etc., any kind of petty purchase,
procurement of water purifiers and maintenance contract, cleaning and sanitation of
OPTCL and GRIDCO premises, telephones and mobile, procurement of hot contingencies,
liveries, supply of newspaper to offices etc.
 Tendering, procurement and installation of biometric machines, issue of related orders
 Looking after the administrative work related to hospital and transit house
 Extending faculty assistance in training programmes for executives and non-executives
 Looking after all the matters related to CUG
 Supervising sub ordinates and monitoring their work for improved performance
 Completing any other tasks as assigned by the superior from time to time

Qualification Requirements:

To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform all the tasks and duties
diligently and professionally.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

 A full-time management graduate in Human resource and operations from a reputed


institute
 Proven work experience as an operation and logistic manager or similar role
 Hands-on experience with Human Resources Management Software

 Ability to foster healthy employee relations
 Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to get the best out of the team
 Proven record of quick reaction to crisis and difficult situations

 Experience in coaching and mentoring leadership to next level, being and effective
sounding board for the Operations Leadership
 Good contextual knowledge of local issues
