Dear Sir/Ma’am,

RE: Absence from school due to family matters

I hereby regret to inform you that my son Jomard Sam A. Delos Reyes of class 11 Becker,
was absent from school last October 24-25 2017.

Sam’s absent was due to reasons relating to some family matters that needed to be
resolved at a short notice. I feel that it would be helpful to write this letter to acknowledge the
school that it was inevitable cause that my son was absent on the said day.

Would you be kind enough to give my son a chance to comply his missed requirements in
able for him to catch-up with the assignments and requirements that he might have missed? I
will make sure on my part that he will comply in timely manners.

Your kind understanding and consideration is very much appreciated.
