Expectations
On Time- Come to class on time with materials- late w/o teacher pass or missing materials .
Start on Weekly Sketch or current project.
Directions- Listen to the directions the first time, raise your hand if you have a question and
follow all directions
On Task- Stay in your seat, Work on art during art time- no phones, homework, or food (they
will be collected if out- and counts as a signature)
Materials- Use materials correctly and safely. These are here for you- keep them nice.
Clean Up- Put projects away, return supplies, pick up floor and tables, and wait at seat to be
dismissed.
Disciplinary Procedure
1. Verbal Warning Materials
2. Sign Sheet and move seat A pencil and eraser- EVERY DAY
3. 3 Signatures= After school Detention Pocket Folder (center tab prefered)
4. Phone call home No phones or electronics (school wide
5. Office referral policy)
Assignments/Grade breakdown
Sketches- Completed weekly in class and due on Fridays
Brainstorming/ Notes- Completed prior to beginning each project, Master Monday notes
Tests- Covering important content knowledge, vocabulary and skills
Art Projects- Completed and graded using a specific rubric. Discussed before starting projects
and students will have a chance to self assess prior to turning in project.
Late work
Assignments are due on the specific date
Assignments turned in late will be penalized one letter grade per day late.
Students with excused absences should check with teacher about exceptions.
