Utilization of snail meat meal in poultry feed,

especially for quail has never been applied before. The
objective of the Study was evaluate the addition of snail
meat meal on feed consumption, body weight gain, feed
conversion ratio and age at first laying. Materials for the
research were 120 quail and the method of the Study was
exsperimental research with for treatment and six
replications. The treatments consisted of P0 were basal
feed without snail meat meal, P1 were basal feed with
10% snail meat meal, P2 were basal feed with 20% snail
meat meal, P3 were basal feed with 30% snail meat meal.
Data were analyzed by ANOVA and if there was
significant influences Then it was De tested by Duncan’s
Multiple Range Test. Results showed that the addition of
snail meat meal on feed has a difference effect on P<0.01
feed consumption (381,93 ± 4,77) g/bird, P<0.05 body
weight gain (118,73 ± 4,16), P<0.01feed conversion
(1,2788 ± 0,02) and P>0.05 age first laying (44,83 ± 2.32)
day/bird.
