We alone
Can devalue gold
By not caring
If it falls or rises
In the marketplace

what is your interpretation in this? Or what do you think the
author wants to tell us? (Sense of responsibility)

Wherever there is gold

There is a chain, you know,
And if your chain
Is gold
So much the worse
For you

 Why do you think that the speaker/author said that “so much
the worse for you?”

“ENOUGH” is not really present in the human’s vocabulary?

Feathers, shell
And sea-shaped stones
Are all as rare

 Have you ever asked yourself a question, “what is that I value

most in my life?”
 Will you please figure out what figure of speech is being
shown in these lines, and identify the lines that illustrate that
figure of speech. (ALLITERATION line 12 “sea-shaped tone”
and line 13 “are all as rare”)

This could be our revolution

To love what is plentiful
As much as
What is scarce.
