Explanation :
This video tell me about concept o momentum. Momentum is defined as mass time velocity. 𝑝 =
𝑚𝑣
p as momentum with SI units (kg m/s)
m as mass of object with SI units (kg)
v as velocity of object with SI units (m/s)
The amount of momentum that an object has is dependent upon two variables: how
much object is moving and how fast the object is moving.Momentum is a vector quantity. When
velocity of object increases (due to gravity), momentum will also increase. When a ball rolls
downhill, the velocity will increase because the force of gravity accelerates it. And when a car in
motion will have a momentum, if you slam on the brakes to avoid a collision. Here, the force
must be applied to decelerate the car to bring a moving car to stop.
The force is applied times the durations times called as impulse, which will be measured
in Newton seconds. The relationships between impulse and momentum is called impulse-
momentum theorem. Impulse is a change of momentum.
𝐹∆𝑡 = ∆𝑝
The sum of momentum of the two objects will be the same before and after collision.
