RULES & GUIDELINES:

A. There shall be one (1) pair representative, 1 boy and 1 girl of every participating Grade Level, from
SpEd up to Grade 6.
B. The candidates should meet the following requirements:
 Bonafide student of Buhangin Central Elementary School Sped Center
 Good moral character
 Each candidate must register and report for rehearsals
 Each candidate must prepare for the following attires for the contest:
a. Casual Attire (for the production number)
b. Formal Wear (Evening/Long Gown for Girls (floor length gown) and Suit & Tie/Tuxedo for
Boys)
c. Talent presentation – by pair/duo performance

C. The following shall be contested categories and criteria for judging:

1. TALENT. Talent presentation shall not exceed three (3) minutes excluding entrance and exit. Usage
of fire and big props on stage is strictly prohibited. Skill talents rendition is encouraged but must not
endanger the candidate. It is a duo/pair performance. Uses of back-up performers are not allowed.

2. LONG GOWN/MEN’S SUIT. Each candidates shall provide its gown/suit

3. QUESTION & ANSWER PORTION. One question shall be asked for each contestant. Candidates shall
be given different question. Individual Judging.

Delivery and Choice of words 30%
Relevance, Content, Wit and Impact 30%

4. In the selection of the title, garnered points during the talent, long gown and Q&A
round shall be disregarded and back to zero (0). Individual Judging. Criteria for the
final/title round are:

D. Ranking system shall be used to determine the winners.

E. Special awards shall also be given.
F. At all times when there are doubts in the mechanics, the decision of the organizers shall prevail and
shall be final and irrevocable.
