AN ACT REAPPORTIONING THE PROVINCE OF BATANGAS
INTO SIX (6) LEGISLATIVE DISTRICTS

Be it e nacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the


Philippines in Congress assembled:

SECTION 1. The Province of Batang-as is hereby


reapportioned into six (6) legislative districts to commence in the
next national and local elections after the effectivity of this Act,

each district to be composed of the following:

(a) l"irst Legislative District The municipalities that


comprise the current First Legislative District of the Province of
Batangas shall remain in its composition, to wit:

(1) Balayan
(2) Calaca
(3) Calatagan

(5) Lian
(12) Talisay
(6) Nasugbu
(d) Fourth Legislative District - The Fourth Legislative
(7) Taal District of the Province of Batangas shall be composed of the

(1) Ibaan
(b) Second Legislative District The Second Legislative
District of the Province of Batangas shall be composed of the (2) ,Padre Garcia

(e) Fifth Legislative District - The Fifth Legislative

SEC. 5. Effectivity Clause. This Act shall take effect

fifteen (15) days after its publication in any newspaper of general

circulation.
