Trade union movement in Pirot 1900-1914

Abstract: “If will born a trade unon movement, It neceserry is developing a

capitalisam in the country” - Dragiša Lapčević
Pirot, the town which have realised 28. December. 1877 from slavery of Turkey.After
words, the Town in while chanage a look, transfor for the Turkish town to European
city. In Society and political life had been changed in town of Pirot . A political
parties had been Radical party, Liberal party. Indenpendient party and Socijalist -
democratic party. A unique group have been gathered the workers, it was Socijalist -
democratic party. The workes were fought for more rights.
In Kingdom of Serbia, Socijalist - demokratic party was created 1903, but in Pirot
something earlier. A frist man who brought the ideas of socialisam was Svetozar
Marković. Dimtrije Tucović i Dragiša Lapčevi have been establised Socijalist -
demokratic party. They spread a idea of socialisam with his associate, but in Pirot was
Đorđe Popović i Đorđe Tošić.
The question is:How was created a union movement ,when We know a capitalist
sistem in its infacy. Prospect a file in Pirot, I have answered on asked question
successfully. In This labor, I have
showed a militancy trade unon movement in political and social life of Pirot left a
deep trace in the history of twentieth century.
