This survey aims to know/investigate about customers’

behavior in exercising so that we might gauge receptivity to


new service ideas in health care business. We have
surveyed/conducted a survey to 16 people, 5 males and 11
females aged 12 to older than 30???, asking them about the
frequencies of customers’ exercising with 2 categories:
customer profile and customer behavior. We asked the 16
respondents to complete our survey. 12 respondents were
students and 4 were office workers. The survey was
administered online via

24- 26, 2016.

In terms of customer behavior, the first topic was how


often the customers exercised. It was found that 30% of the
respondents never did an exercise. Only 13.3% of these did it
every day, following with 20% who did do it more than 3
times a week. And most of the respondents (40%) did have
the exercise 1-3 times a week
According to the places they usually had the exsecise
at, most of the respondents (53.3%) usually go to public parks
to do exercise, follow by at the gym at 26.7%, at the fitness
centers at 13.3%, and at home at 6.7%.
According to types of sport the respondents played,
jogging was the most popular type of exercise that they
chose. The second popular sport was aerobic dance was
chosen at 28.6%, and boxing was at 7.1%.
To benefits that people want to get from do an exercise,
50% of the respondents chose weight loss. Stay fit is chosen
with 4 people (25%), and follow by boost up energy 18.8%.
As a result, we can get valuable ideas to improve our
business by using this helpful information, and to create a new
kind of health care business to response the customer needs.
