Health - Protection

• Draw the chart of the native to be cured/saved using red ink

• Gaṇeśa in plate of water, keep chart in front, light ghee lamp
• Start with Aries, place a red sandal dot with tip of right ring
finger saying अं (aṁ); vermillion or sandal paste mixed with
turmeric are also used
• Repeat for all twelve signs of chart with respective sounds
• Place dot in center reciting ‘हं सः अमत
ृ वचर्से वाहा’ (haṁsaḥ
amṛta varcase svāhā). Repeat full mantra ‘aṁ … svāhā’ 108

Navakkāri Meditation

• Meditation on these sounds can heal the

concerned houses [not signs]
• In addition, स (sauṁ) and क्लीं (klīṁ) can be
used for fulfilling all desires and for mokṣa
respectively
• ीं (śrīṁ) is the best mantra for Bhū loka
