In my classroom I would love to try using the technique of a flipped classroom to meet

TQS number 3a bullet three. The flipped classroom is a technique that assigns students

homework to watch a lesson at home and spend class time asking questions and gaining a better

understanding of material. I would use EduCreation to allow students who learn better at home

be able to achieve their learning needs in the environment that works for them. Since this

teaching strategy reinforces this point from the TQS it promotes student’s autonomy and

relatedness.

I would also love to use video conferencing to meet TQS number 1f. Video conferencing

allows you to have people from around the world interact with your students. I would use skype

to communicate with people who are knowledgeable about their culture and allow my students to

learn from them and ask them questions. Since this teaching strategy reinforces this point from

the TQS it helps students understand the importance of different cultures and honour those

cultures through discussion.
