Letter of Recommendation

I am pleased to write a letter of support for Mr. Nandan Jaju for the graduate course at your
esteemed university. Nandan has successfully completed the Production Engineering course at
our institute, and he is one of the bright students of our department.
I have known him for more than three years now. I have taught him Manufacturing Processes
in the second year, Metal Forming in the third year and Die Mould Design in the final year.
His academic performance in the above-mentioned subjects was excellent. Since the subjects I
teach requires good analytical and design skills in which he has responded promptly by taking
active participation in class discussions and practical sessions. He had presented several
innovative design ideas for the design of dies and tools as a part of course curriculum. I make
of him as a sincere and diligent student. As an internship coordinator of the final year, Nandan
has successfully completed the 5-month long research internship at ISRO LAB III at VIT. He
has done his research work on Laser Hardening of SS316L and has secured AA grade for his
internship work.
Nandan is a very determined and level-headed student. He is aware of the latest advances in
the field of manufacturing and shall collaboratively work for the research or any other task as
per the requirement at your reputed university. Based on my constant interaction with Nandan,
I would rank him among top 10 students of Production Engineering course. I found Nandan to
be both efficient and meticulous, which incidentally are the most important qualities a person
should possess for undertaking any kind of research. He has done very well at the
undergraduate level and considering his aptitude and information in the above-mentioned
subject, I strongly recommend him to be considered as a potential candidate for admission to
the graduate course in your esteemed university with financial assistance. I wish him all the
