Letter of Recommendation

It is with immense pride I am writing this recommendation letter on the behalf of Mr. Abhishek
Paudel. By virtue of his perseverance, and the level of his effort, he has shown great
improvements over time. I strongly believe, he has a great career ahead of him. I have known
him since the second year of his undergraduate course in our department. I have been his tutor
for various subjects including Strength of Materials (4th semester), Mechanics of Solids (5th
semester), and Machine Design (6th and 7th semesters). In this period, I was able to gauge his
innate abilities to understand the concept and applying them to solve real-life problems. His
capability to simplify the problem with the innovative approach made his intentions quite lucid;
he wanted to do be unique. One of his best attributes, I want to mention, was being a good
listener, I found him concentrating on the lectures, and being inquisitive.
Mr. Paudel has a great sense of cooperation. I found him among his group of friends, several
times, helping them with his insights on the subject matter. His leadership in his final year
project titled “Design, Fabrication and Testing of a manually operating rice transplanting
machine”, was praised by the department of automobile and mechanical engineering. His
dedication, hard work, and entrenched persistence aided him to succeed in his final year project.
He is effective in his oral communication and able to conduct his ideas clearly, which was
observed in his project presentations. Among his other plus points; his natural and intellectual
curiosity, constantly referring to different sources of learning, he went beyond the learning of
textbooks and persistently referred to other educational sources such as practical field projects,
websites, engineering journals, etc. He never gives up, one and the foremost characteristics of
him.
I recommend that he will have no problem whatsoever fitting into a reputed university
classroom. His diligence and work productivity are bound to assist him greatly in his future. I
don’t see him facing any difficulties with rigorous programs. I wish him all the best in his future
endeavors.
