1 BEFORE YOU WRITE
Read the model paragraph about Jen’s home. Answer the questions.

I live in an apartment in Silver Springs. I like my home. It has a large


kitchen and a big balcony. It has many windows and many closets. There
is a laundry room in the building. There is a bus stop nearby.
There are some problems with my apartment. Sometimes the
elevators don’t work. Sometimes the neighbors are noisy. The building
manager helps, but he is always very busy!
