    Student’s should read through the following questions before watching the film. The target
    task is to improve the student’s understanding of the topic of precarious employment.
    Student’s should answer the following questions as they watch the film.

    Questions:

    1. What percentage of Londoners’s are NOT in standard work?

    2. What is one characteristic of precarious work? For example, lack of benefits.

    3. Since 2005, how many full-time jobs have been lost in London?

    4. What is a gig economy?

    5. Melissa Sheehan describes her experience of precarious employment, and she speaks
    about part-time labour. Why is part-time labour an issue umbrellaed under precarious
    employment?

    6. In your own words, define precarious employment? Provide two reasons why precarious
    labour is problematic (for example, use some of the ideas from the testimonies).
