09.20 2’ MC Good Morning Ladies and gentlemen, we delighted to welcome you to the
first International Conference of Psychology: in Health, Education, Social and
Organizational Settings 2013 in Faculty of Psychology, Universitas Airlangga,
Surabaya, Indonesia.

The conference aims to establish international scholars and academic

community in pursuing global mental health and well-being, particularly for
managing challenges from the changing global context of psychology. In
addition, this conference is also intended to connect the scientists from the
field of psychology, behavioral science, and humanities as well as
professionals from various spectrums.

Hosted in the City of Heroes, Surabaya, the Faculty of Psychology Universitas

Airlangga, has the honor to present you this international conference. This
conference is presented by the committee of the Faculty of Psychology which
has nurtured the virtuous culture of collective values and the vibrant youth
spirits of the Faculty of Psychology.

by listening to the songs performed by the Choir of Faculty of Psychology,
Universitas Airlangga.

The Choir of Faculty of Psychology, Universitas Airlangga consists of lecturers
and students of the Faculty of Psychology. They have championed in several
university awards.
Today, they are going to present you the total 4 songs:
1. Putra Airlangga Bangkit, which is about the spirit of Universitas Airlangga
to develop its nation
2. Surabaya, a local song about the History and Heroic Spirit of Surabaya
3. Rek ayo rek, a humorous local song about the enthusiasm in exploring
Surabaya
4. Si batu manikam, a traditional song from North Sumatra to welcome the
guest

Ladies and Gentlemen, today we start the 3 days of ICP-HESOS 2013

Conference. We would like to invite Prof. Soetjipto as the Vice Rector for
Planning, Development, Cooperation Affairs, and Information System of
Universitas Airlangga to open the Conference, accompanied by Mr. Sukarwo,
as the Governor’s Representative of East Java Province.

 Province. It is usually perform in an important occasion.

Ladies and gentlemen, now we will continue to the next session. However,
before we move further to the next agenda, the Technical Committee would

1’ MC Ladies and gentlemen, we have reached conclusions of our opening ceremony.

Before I end this opening, I would like to inform you the following matters:
1. We have organized in total 6 workshops that you can join. For further
information and schedule you may visit the workshop registration
desk on the 2nd floor.
2. We would like to invite you to come to the welcome dinner which
will be hosted by the Mayor of Surabaya, tonight, at 6 p.m. For those
who are interested to join, please register yourself in the registration
desk located on the 2nd floor.
3. For moderators of plenary sessions, there will be short briefing in this
hall, right after this, in order to inform you regarding the procedures
of the plenary sessions
4. The lunch will be taken in the same place where you took the
morning coffee.
5. For poster presentations, the participants may start to post their poster
at the given location, located on the 3rd floor. Please see your map.

After lunch we will start our plenary session, there are going to be in total 4
sessions which will be conducted in 9 classes.
