Bohemian Rhapsody
Freddie Mercury

The song is all about a boy pleading in front of an unsympathetic jury after murdering a
man. The jury may be a religious group, as pointed by the word 'Bismillah', which is the first word
of every chapter of Quran (Freddie belonged to a Zoroastrian family) that is why he was strictly
being executed. Though, a small voice in the group does indeed show a little sympathy every now
and then.
At first, the narrator showed confusion if it’s just a dream wherein in the first part he said-
Is this the real life? Is this just fantasy?
Then he was calmed or relaxed- Because I'm easy come, easy go, Little high, little low. Any
way the wind blows doesn't really matter to me, to me.
Also realization, he realized that he just killed a man, where he put a gun against his head,
pulled his trigger and now he's dead.
Regret, his life had just begun because he is just a boy but now it’s all gone and thrown it
all away because he was being executed.
We can say that there is a trial because the narrator said he saw a little silhouette of a man,
Scaramouche, Scaramouche, will you do the fandango? Thunderbolt and lightning, very, very
frightening.
Th narrator plead saying, he was just a poor boy, nobody loves him and that he should be
spared from death or execution.
In the judgement, it seems that
Bismillah! No we will not let you go - let him go
Bismillah! We will not let you go - let him go
Anger
So you think you can stone me and spit in my eye
So you think you can love me and leave me to die
Oh, baby, can't do this to me, baby,
Just gotta get out, just gotta get right outta here.
Resignation
Nothing really matters, Anyone can see, Nothing really matters, nothing really matters to me
