Analysis and Data Interpretation

On this exercise, the students measure the amount of Precipitation. After 1

hour of rainfall ( Sept 12,2018) 4:00PM-5:00PM. The students were able to
measure the amount of rainfall. Using a cylindrical container and a measuring tape.
For every quarter of an hour, the students measure the height in mm of rainfall.

According to the data accumulated, for the first 15 minutes, there is 30mm
height of rain. They empty the container again to measure the height of the rainfall.
For the second rainfall the height was 10mm, and for the next 30 mins the height is
almost negligable. These data tells that the flow rate of the rain is not constant and
change over time.

Conclusion

After the experiment the students were able to conclude that the the amount
of precipitation change over time.
