Directions: With a partner, use the text to create an Instagram bio for Jay Gatsby. Because we don’t
know which Gatsby we can truly trust, you have two options. You may create an Instagram bio or an
honest Instagram bio.

● For a traditional bio, one that shows all of his accolades, follow pages 65-69 (Chapter IV)
● For an “honest” bio, that showcases what it likely the less-glamorous truth about Gatsby and his
past, follow pages 97-101 (Chapter XI)

Get creative! Let’s think about how Gatsby would represent himself to the people around him. What
