Recreate the history of America using facts, critical thought and personal interpretations.
Include thirteen pre-assigned topics (events, people, ideals, concepts, etc…).
Each topic will deserve two pages of the scrapbook
Write 1-paragraph (5-7 sentences & a minimum of 5 facts) or more per topic
Include at least four print outs, maps or drawings representing each of the thirteen topics.
Create a scrapbook cover that represents the United States of America (in your opinion) discussed in chapters 8-10.
Assessment:
Students will be assessed on their ability to…
convey factual and detailed information regarding each of the pre-assigned topics.
accurately express the sights (print out, drawing or map) of each of the pre-assigned topics.
include thoughtful reflection (personal opinion) for each of the pre-assigned topics.
summarize key events from the history of America discussed in chapters 8-10.
