You are going to see images of five cities and their landmarks. Write a
paragraph describing each city and country it belongs and the landmark shown.
Use the vocabulary from the box for the descriptions. The first one is done for
you as an example. / A continuación verá imágenes de cinco ciudades y sus
lugares representativos. Escriba un párrafo describiendo cada ciudad, el país al
que pertenece y el lugar mostrado. Use el vocabulario dentro del recuadro para

million people. There is a lot
to see and do in New York.
You can visit the Central Park,
the Metropolian museum and
Time’s Square. In the picture
you can see the Statue of
Liberty, a monumet built
between 1875 and 1986. It is
93 meters tall. The statue is

located in southern Italy and
is the capital of Italy. Rome is

for 380,000 people. There you
can look many statuates of
saints, in the middle of square
there are a two fontains and
the obelisk.

city of Australia is the biggest
city and the most population.
Sidney is located in oceania.
In this city you can visit the
Sydney Opera House, one of
most famous buildings of
century XX, It is located on
Sidney harbour. Sidney is a
cosmopolitan city with
modern buildings and can you
see many boats in her coasts.

Edinburgh is the capital of
Scotland is a small city, her
population is around of
459.000 people. Is located on
the east coast of Scotland and
is the second city more visited
of united kingdom. In the
south of the city you can see
the Edinburgh Castle .

museums and libraries and
the majority of the museums
are free.

 Dubai is one of the seven
states that make up the United
Arab Emirates is one the more
important states of the
Emirates because it is the
center of the oil industry. In
Dubai you can find the tallest
building of the world called
Burj khalifa. In Dubai you can
visit the wonderfull malls and
you can take a ride in a truck
for the desert of sahara.
